DVM, Owner

Lauryl R. Hynes opened Crossover Veterinary Clinic in 1995 after working as a veterinarian in both Little Rock and Fayetteville. She has a special interest in oncology and dermatology, and her goal when you visit her clinic is to walk away knowing that she cares for your pet as much as you do.

Dr. Hynes grew up in Jonesboro, AR, with her three sisters and one brother. Her Dad was a physician practicing in family medicine who encouraged her to be a pediatrician. When asked if she would become a doctor like her father, Dr. Hynes said, "Yes but I will be an animal doctor." She always wanted to be veterinarian from childhood and had horses as a teen, along with dogs and cats

Having found a calling in veterinary medicine, Dr. Hynes completed her undergraduate studies at Arkansas State University and University of Arkansas, Little Rock. She  earned her D.V.M. at Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, LA, and began serving her animal patients.

Dr. Hynes has a standard poodle named Duke and a German Shorthaired Pointer-Poodle cross named Bogey, as well as a family cat named Rainey. Dr. Hynes loves gardening, art, traveling and  spending time with her husband and two sons at her home in Fayetteville. Her clinic shows off her interest in art and interior design.
